MISSION AREA
At the YMCA of Upper Palmetto, we believe that every young person has incredible potential. With the support of caring, dedicated staff, children, and teens are encouraged to explore their interests, grow academically, make positive life choices, and build the confidence they need to succeed. By fostering a safe and nurturing environment, the Y helps youth become the leaders of tomorrow – equipped with the values, skills, and passion to make a lasting impact in their communities.

QUOTE
“This summer, a bright and spirited 6-year old girl named Lily is getting a chance to just be a kid – something that hasn’t come easy for her.
After losing her mother unexpectedly last year, Lily and her father found themselves facing unimaginable grief and financial hardship. With nowhere else to turn, they moved into a local homeless shelter. Her father, doing everything he can to provide stability, was determined to give Lily the chance to experience joy, play, and friendship like any other child.
But summer camp – something so ordinary for many kids – felt completely out of reach.
Thanks to generous donors and our community partners, Lily received a scholarship to attend summer camp. For the first time in a long time, she’s surrounded by laughter, nature, and new friends. She’s painting, swimming, singing songs – and healing.”

Teams FAQ
4 person captains choice. Each player drives, the team selects a ball to play and each player plays from that spot. This is repeated until the ball is holed. For speed of play, please pickup if par is not achieved. Bogey is your friend. NOTE: Threesomes will elect one player per hole to hit twice. Mulligans are utilized per player not per team. There will be two divisions: Gross and Net.
