Momentum Dance
Momentum Dance specializes in all levels of dance from beginner to adult. We offer programs in all dance genres designed for recreational dancers as well as those who wish to make dance a profession. Dance Styles offered:
Ballet/Pointe – A very formal and strict type of performance dance. You must be enrolled in Ballet to participate in Pointe.
Tap – A dance form that uses the sounds of tap shoes striking the floor as a form of percussion.
Jazz – A form of dance that showcases a dander’s individual style and originality. This type of dancing is energetic and fun, consisting of unique moves, fancy footwork, big leaps and quick turns.
Modern – A dancing style that rejects many of the strict rules of classical ballet, focusing instead on the expression of inner feelings.
Lyrical – A style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet.
Hip Hop – Refers to street dance styles primarily performed to hip hop music or that have evolved as part of hip hop culture.
