Winter Swim Team
Winter Swim Team focuses on developing quality stroke technique, fundamentals, endurance, and team participation. Child’s age as of January 1st will determine their age group for the season. Practice times are determined by age group. Participants practice during the months of November, December, January and February.
Practice begins November 9th. See age groups for times.
Competitions will be with other 2026 Polar Bear Swim Teams. Meets will be held Saturdays starting January through the month of February. Championships will be held in February.
If there is no Fort Mill School District school, no practices will be held.
If your swimmer is a first-time participant, please reach out to Coach Taryn to schedule an evaluation before registering at [email protected].
Equipment Needed: One-piece swim suit, towel, swim cap optional, and a good pair of goggles for each practice. Long hair must be tied back.
