After School Baxter Close 2023-2024
Grades: Kindergarten – 5th Grade
Weekly Rate: Members $90/week | Non-members $130/week
Registration Fee: A one-time, non-refundable $25 registration fee will be due at time of enrollment.
Monday – Friday | School dismissal – 6:00pm
Transportation from school to the Baxter Close YMCA is provided for your child for the following schools:
- Gold Hill Elementary School
- Orchard Park Elementary School
- Kings Town Elementary School
- Pleasant Knoll Elementary School
*minimum of 5 children for each location
Program Dates: Each YMCA After School Program follows the schedule of their local School District. Baxter Close Afterschool program will not run on Fort Mill School District Student/Teacher Holidays or over Holiday Breaks.
The Program is closed:
Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, Day After Christmas, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Good Friday and Memorial Day. We also will not offer Afterschool on Student/Teacher Holidays (those weeks will be prorated).

Authorized Pick-Ups:
During registration, you will be asked to list all authorized pick-ups for your child and will be asked to include their date of birth and phone number. YMCA staff will not release a child to anyone other than the authorized parents/guardians or other individuals authorized, in writing, by parents.
Registration Dates
- May 3 – Registration opens for current afterschool participants
- May 10 – Registration opens for YMCAUP members
- May 17 – General registration opens
