Race 4 Chase
Race 4 Chase is named after Chase Kowalski, an amazing little boy from Newtown, Connecticut, who loved to run. Race 4 Chase strives to empower kids to reach their full potential.
The program is for children ages 6-12 years old wishing to participate in the Race 4 Chase Triathlon Program. This program provides youth with a fun, skill building, and life-changing experience by introducing them to the sport of triathlon.
The program runs for six weeks starting June 9, 2025 and ending on race day, Saturday, July 26, 2025 (will not meet June 30-July 4). Participants will receive a Race for Chase t-shirt. Each participant will need to register separately with USA Triathlon by June 30, 2025. The cost of USA Triathlon registration is approximately $10 for youth.
This application needs to be completed by both parent/guardian and child wishing to participate in the program. Please answer all questions – if you have additional children, each child must have a separate application.
Due to limited enrollment, applications will be evaluated based on several factors. Selection priority will be given to first time registrations, a demonstration of need, and those indicating a sincere desire to participate for the complete duration of the program. You will be notified if your child has been selected into the program no later than May 2, 2025 and at that time you will be charged the program fee.
If selected, participant will attend the 6 week program (times vary at each branch) and participation is mandatory for the final race on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at the CSD Community YMCA.
